Wow! This week has been a busy week with what appears to be a record pace of rosaries prayed in one week. The current record is 293 rosaries prayed and it was established week ending 2/28/09. We currently stand at 202 rosaries prayed through Wednesday and at the time of this blog post on Thursday, 58 rosaries have been prayed today. With only 34 rosaries and 2 days left in the week, it looks like a new record is sure to be established.
Perhaps more interesting is that February 2010 may also break the current record for most rosaries prayed in one month. Quite an accomplishment for the year's shortest month! The total count before today for the month of February is 924. Add the 56 we already have through 6:47pm today and that is 980. We will need 117 rosaries prayed from now until midnight Sunday, 2/28/10 to break the current record of 1096.
Apparently more and more people are discovering the amazing power of the Most Holy Rosary of Our Blessed Mother and that is the most exciting news of all.
