Pray With Others Live On This Conference Call

I received a phone call from one of our website visitors. His name is Mark and he has set up a conference call for Sunday night at 9pm EST, 6/27/10. The purpose of the conference call is to allow all interested the opportunity to pray our scriptural rosary together as a group. We hope you are able to join us on Sunday and/or Wednesday nights.

This is a toll call so please do not participate if you do not have free long distance service with your carrier! If you are not certain, please do not make the call. I don't want anyone getting a surprise telephone bill!

If you do have free long distance we hope you'll participate in the calls. For now, we will try Sunday and Wednesday nights at 9pm EST.

To participate in the call just dial (605) 477-3000 and enter 228834# as the pass code.

If you can't make it Sunday we hope you'll try it out on Wednesday.

I received the following email today. It sounds like a great idea to me. If you agree please copy and email to all of your praying friends and acquaintances. Together we may make a difference! I did take advantage and added a link to our rosary website.

Are you aware there is an initiative to unite all Catholics in prayer on Good Friday between Noon and 3pm?

Everyone is aware of the downward moral spiral we are all caught up in which seems to be touching every aspect of our lives. Please consider praying with us to bring peace to the world and protection to those who are most in need of our protection, like the homeless, the elderly, children and young people, and the unborn.

There is a great deal to gain and absolutely nothing to lose!

Imagine what might happen if every Catholic in the world would pray a Rosary on the same day! We have an example in October of 1573, when Europe was saved from the invasion of the mighty Turkish fleet, by the praying of the Rosary by all Christians!

So, on Good Friday, let us all pray a Rosary for peace in the world and the return of moral values into our communities. If possible, please pray your Rosary between Noon and 3:00pm.

Also, please e-mail this message to every Catholic on your address list, and ask them to pass it along to every Catholic on their lists. Let's unite in praying one of the most powerful prayers in existence, for these intentions, on one of the holiest days in our Church year.

Audio Rosaries Reviewed

I received the following message today. If anyone out there can help... please do so!

"I tried to pray an audio rosary tonight but it would not load. I'm wondering if it's because my new computer is an Apple product, whereas my other computer is a Microsoft product. Or is there a problem with the audio on the site? Thank you for your website. I come to it almost every day to pray the rosary. God Bless you all."

My initial thought is what default audio player is used. Perhaps all that is required is the download of a different player. To my best knowledge, the audio rosaries work with Windows Media Player, Real Audio and Quick Time Audio.

Please let us know if downloading a new player works with your new computer. Everyone else, please offer your suggestions in the comment section.
