Three Records Set In March 2011

The record for most rosaries prayed in one week was set week-ending 3/26/11 at 459. Guess what... we've already broken that record this week and there are two more days left!

The record for most rosaries prayed in a day was set on 3/30/11 at 163.

The record for most rosaries prayed in a month was set in March 2011 at 2030. That beat the previous record set last March by a whopping 437 rosaries!

Please, please continue to pray and spread the word with friends and acquaintances.

I'm advertising www.rosarysite.com on google. It is getting us some new visitors too and hopefully will help us rank on the first page for searches for "rosary" and the like.

Try F11 With Version 2 Mysteries

If you like to see the picture while you pray then try version two of each mystery and hit "F11" on your keyboard before you begin. This will give you the full screen. To go back to "normal", just hit "F11" again.

I received a submission from a group of 82 that prayed the scriptural rosary today. That is so wonderful! It also means we have set a new daily record and are on our way to break the weekly record set last week.

Monthly Record Broken!

There are still three days left in March but the record of 1593 rosaries prayed last March has been broken!

Check back on 4/1/11 to see the total for the new record.

Also, I've started advertising the new sister site, www.rosarysite.com. This is an effort to get ranked on google searches for terms like rosary, holy rosary, online rosary etc.

I did this originally for www.scripturalrosary.org and it is now ranked #1 on google, yahoo and other search engines for the term "scriptural rosary". However, we are nowhere to be found when you search for rosary, holy rosary, online rosary, etc.

One Week Record Is Broken!

This post is a "Congratulations To All" for helping us break the record for most rosaries prayed in one week. The old record was 423. The new record set last week is 459.

We've got five more days to beat the all time monthly record of 1593. Through 3/26/11 we've prayed 1489 rosaries. We need 105 to break the record. That's 21 per day so this record should fall.

Font Increased On Second Version

In order to assist those that need it, I have increased the font on the version 2 of the scriptural rosary. The first version uses font size 20. Version 2 uses font size 18. I could not make it quite as big and keep the picture on the side.

You may need to refresh each page if you want to use the larger font.

I had a request and I remembered that several others had expressed an appreciation for the larger font in the original version. I hope the change proves helpful.

Eleven Today Will Break A Record!

With 413 rosaries already prayed through Friday we need just 11 more today to break the weekly record of 423. Saturdays are not the best day but 11 doesn't seem like it will be a problem.

To break the record for a month (1593), we need to pray 151 more rosaries with six more days to do it. That's right at 25 per day so it looks like a new monthly record will be set too.

If you haven't already, take a second one day and check out the guest book or the feedback section of the site. The mission of www.scripturalrosary.org is to enhance the experience for those that already pray the Holy Rosary and to encourage others to begin this devotion on a daily basis. It appears that at least to some degree, it is working!

Two Records May Be Broken!

We have an opportunity to set two records in rosaries prayed at www.scripturalrosary.org. The current record for rosaries prayed in one week is 423. Through Thursday, we have prayed 344 rosaries. It will take 80 more in the next two days to beat that record.

We've also prayed 1374 rosaries this month. The record for one month is 1593. We need 220 more prayed to beat the record and we have 7 days to accomplish this task.

The site was first published on 1/20/08. Back then I got excited when one rosary was prayed. It is extremely exciting to see so many take advantage of the website this month. I hope everyone is enjoying spending the time with Jesus and His mother.
