The rosary count in March appears to be on its way to a new monthly record. Thank you all for your prayers and support of the website and its mission.

If you haven't already noticed, there are four more scriptural rosaries to pray now. They are all easy to pray and the images depicting each mystery are larger. I hope you like them for a change in pace occasionally.

Please continue to spread the word about the site. The current goal is to have 100,000 rosaries prayed because of the site. The goal was originally 1,000,000 but that wasn't seeming very realistic at the rate it was going.

With your help and your prayers, maybe it still will happen.

New Joyful and Sorrowful Mysteries Added

You may have to "refresh" the Beginning Prayers Page to see them but I have completed two new versions for the Joyful and Sorrowful Mysteries. The new versions for the Illuminous and Glorious Mysteries will follow soon.

I wanted to give you an option to change it up a bit. I hope you enjoy them.

Lent Begins!

Just a reminder that today is Ash Wednesday. While you're trying to figure out what you plan to "give up" consider this... How about giving up 30 minutes a day to pray the Holy Rosary every day? It's just a thought.

My goal this season is to create another scriptural rosary with different scripture verses and different pictures to give you the chance for a change when you visit www.scripturalrosary.org. I'm going to try to create a format that allows you to see the picture or pictures representing each mystery throughout the 10 "Hail Marys". I'll try to have it finished before Holy Thursday.

Please keep me in your prayers during lent. I will do the same for you all.

March 2010 holds the record for most rosaries prayed at www.scripturalrosary.org in one month. That record is 1593.

Let's Break The Record In March

The prayer count is very good so far in February. Many groups, including one of 60, have contributed greatly. Of course, I am extremely grateful for those that come each week and perhaps every day to pray a rosary at the site.

Let's plan to break the record of 1593 set in March of 2010. We will need to average about 52 rosaries prayed each day in March. Please get the word out. Share the site with your friends. Perhaps your priest will post the site in the church bulletin. If you use facebook, post the link.

The Blessed Virgin has promised that "All those that propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities."

I hope everyone is discovering a peace and spirit of hope from their prayers. I love this wonderful prayer from Our Blessed Mother. It is a fantastic way to spend time with Jesus and his mother.
