Lent Begins!

Just a reminder that today is Ash Wednesday. While you're trying to figure out what you plan to "give up" consider this... How about giving up 30 minutes a day to pray the Holy Rosary every day? It's just a thought.

My goal this season is to create another scriptural rosary with different scripture verses and different pictures to give you the chance for a change when you visit www.scripturalrosary.org. I'm going to try to create a format that allows you to see the picture or pictures representing each mystery throughout the 10 "Hail Marys". I'll try to have it finished before Holy Thursday.

Please keep me in your prayers during lent. I will do the same for you all.

Thank you for your participation and support of my site and its mission!

God Bless,

Bill

We need to average 54 per day or better.

A group of 25 will help today's total. Thank you! We need to average 54 rosaries prayed per day for the remainder of March if we hope to break the record of 1593 set in March 2010.

Please continue to spread the word and let others know about the site and its mission.

Thanks for your support!

God Bless.

Hoping To Break A Record

March 2010 holds the record for most rosaries prayed at www.scripturalrosary.org in one month. That record is 1593.

Please come daily to pray a rosary and spend time with Jesus and His mother. Please help spread the word by telling your friends about the site.

Use the "share button" at the bottom of the "Beginning Prayers Page".

Thanks for your support!

Let's Break The Record In March

The prayer count is very good so far in February. Many groups, including one of 60, have contributed greatly. Of course, I am extremely grateful for those that come each week and perhaps every day to pray a rosary at the site.

Let's plan to break the record of 1593 set in March of 2010. We will need to average about 52 rosaries prayed each day in March. Please get the word out. Share the site with your friends. Perhaps your priest will post the site in the church bulletin. If you use facebook, post the link.

The Blessed Virgin has promised that "All those that propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities."

I hope everyone is discovering a peace and spirit of hope from their prayers. I love this wonderful prayer from Our Blessed Mother. It is a fantastic way to spend time with Jesus and his mother.

God bless all of you for your support.

Bill

Saint Of The Day

For daily inspiration I recommend "Saint of the Day". You can read or listen about a saint that may inspire you every day.

I've added their logo to the right side of this page. It's right above "Psalm of the Day".

I hope you enjoy.

God Bless,

Bill

A Special Prayer Request

I just turned 50 and had a physical. The doctor ordered a heart stress test and it is scheduled for tomorrow, 2/2/11 at 9:15am.

I would appreciate it if you would include me in your rosary prayer intentions today and tomorrow.

I'll let you know how it goes. Hopefully all is well.

Thanks,

Bill
